MODUHAUS exists because building in South Africa takes too long, costs too much and rarely lands where it was promised. We build the structure in a factory, deliver it compact and expand it on your site.
The idea
Small footprint. A bigger life.
A MODUHAUS arrives compact enough to travel by road, then slides out horizontally into a full 24 m² home with a bedroom, bathroom, kitchen and living space. The core never changes; the volumes simply extend and lock.
We work across two divisions: MODUHAUS HOME for people who want to live in the space, and MODUHAUS ESCAPE for people who want it to earn.
